Our congregation is dedicated to providing an atmosphere that will enable our young people to grow closer to God as they grow physically.
Our teenage youth group has several opportunities to grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially. Listed below are a few of the programs
we currently offer. If you would like more information, please contact us
Our congregation is actively involved with
Camp Concern. The camp is conducted at Raccoon Creek State Park every summer for ages 8-college age. For more information on Camp
Concern, please click here.
Our teens are actively involved in projects that serve our community. Some of these include
working with the Faith in Action organization, serving at the Claysville Food Bank, and doing work for the elderly of our own congregation.
Our teens attend a number of youth events in the area. Some of these events include Stark County Youth Rally,
Kittanning Youth Rally, the North Hills Youth Rally in September, the Elmer Parsons Youth Retreat in May, area-wide lock-ins, in addition
to Camp Concern and other opportunities to fellowship with teens from other congregations.
Godís Girls is a ministry directly
geared toward the teenage females in the Pittsburgh area. It is a Saturday girls-only youth rally and is designed to strengthen the
faith of young women.
LADS TO LEADERS / LEADERETTES
Lads to Leaders / Leaderettes is our leadership development program. Training
is provided in various areas such as scripture memorization, Bible reading, speech preparation and presentation, debate, song leading,
and Bible bowl.
We have a very active teen youth group. These activities are not just entertainment but opportunities to fellowship and grow closer together as they grow closer to God.
